NJATC shift in core-curriculum
In the Midwest, it is wind turbines. In the Northeast, it is instrumentation and building automation. In the Southwest, it is photovoltaic projects. Our country has just about as many different electrical needs as there are number of states, for that reason electricians need to be specially trained to meet the specific demands of the market.
In the past, all apprentices learned the same thing. But, just as colleges and universities offer different degree programs allowing for specific areas of expertise, now the best electrical training program in America is doing the same.
