Fuel Cells - 300% more efficient than fossil fuels
A fuel cell is a lesser-known green technology becoming more and more popular with each passing day. Technically, it converts a readily available fuel source (such as natural gas, bio gas, hydrogen) and electrochemically converts it into electricity. The only by-product is heat, which can be used again in the process.
A fuel cell continuously provides power - either to a plant, facility or home when it is needed and/or to the grid when it is not. Compared to wind power or solar power - both only produce electricity when the wind is blowing or the sun is shining.
When you combine the power it generates with the heat it produces - a fuel cell is upwards of 90% efficient far exceeding traditional fossil fuels.
