Emergency Power - Florida Hurricanes

Historically, the state of Florida is the hardest hit when it comes to hurricanes coming ashore.  When disaster strikes, people need to be ready.  But, what about those among us who have special needs such as a defibrillator, a breathing machine, dialysis treatments for diabetes, et cetera?

These people are in severe danger when power is cut off and need to find a source of power immediately to survive. 

The NECA/IBEW team of Greenway Electric and Local 349 have been installing emergency back-up generators in Florida for this exact purpose.  The jobs may not be as big as a hospital or a hi-rise, but the small construction job - just like this story - is the bread and butter of the NECA/IBEW team.
