Electric Avenue
There are a myriad of reasons why consumers like the idea of an electric car, but so far their widespread adoption has been stymied by two main questions: How will they be charged and where will they be charged?
The "how" question has been addressed by prior ETV featurette’s and the "why" is now being answered, in part, on Electric Avenue in downtown Portland, Oregon.
This collaboration between the NECA/IBEW team, Portland State University and Portland Gas and Electric shows that a centralized location containing multiple stations is a better option for cars with a volt-addition.
