August - Month in Review
In case you missed either story to debut this month, here's your second chance to see them both.
1) When it comes to Nuclear, most people know little and fear a lot... and so as to learn as much understand what it means for America and our energy future we recently sat down with Dr. Patrick Moore, a nuclear expert with a traveled past.
As a founding member of Greenpeace, Dr. Moore explains why Nuclear Power is actually very safe, is a good investment for the American people, is the only real alternative to fossil fuels, and much, much more.
The NECA-IBEW team continues to find new ways to expand their membership base to those seeking a meaningful career. They're fast-tracking a small group of Native Americans into a pilot program, an electrical pre-apprenticeship class.
The group just finished up a rigorous 6-week program and now begins the hard work toward becoming an IBEW Electrician, and may be one day own their own contracting business... they'll use their skills to better their communities and their lives.
